Williamsport Sports – Home of Little League Baseball
Williamsport PA Sports Venues & Stadiums
Join the thousands who head to Williamsport every August for the Little League World Championship.. or watch minor League professional baseball . . .
While Williamsport is most famous as the home of Little League World Headquarters and the annual Little League World Championship games that are held over a two-week period each August, there are other sporting events or venues to enjoy as well.
See Williamsport’s own minor league baseball team, the Williamsport Crosscutters, a class A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Throughout the summer you can find the Crosscutters playing at Historic Bowman field, the second oldest minor league ballpark in America.
If you’re more interested in getting some personal activity rather than just watching, the YMCA’s Pickelner Arena is a 36,000 square feet arena with a roller rink, and a track for walking or running. Enjoy roller and in-line skating, soccer and hockey leagues, and other fun events.
