It may not embrace all the revelry and risqué behavior that New Orleans' festival is known for, but Williamsport's local Mardi Gras celebration is certain to carry its own share of fun. Folks often dress up and don masks, beads are thrown as favors, and a parade showcases all of the spectacle and merriment.
Many local Williamsport businesses host events for the length of the festival, including musical performances and dancing.
